All children and young people are precious to God. "Jesus said to them, "Let the children come to me, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mark 10,14)
The Diocese supports 110 church schools, which represent more than half of Norfolk's small schools and serve a quarter of the young people in the Diocese. We enrich, serve and support school distinctiveness and ethos, community, governors and buildings, and provide professional advice on inspection, employment and accommodation, alongside setting up training seminars for clergy, parishes, teachers and governors.
Children and young people are a vital part of today's church, and the Diocese also supports and encourages parishes, leaders, youth and children's groups and children and young people themselves in their Christian life, witness and ministry. Our aim is to promote and celebrate youth and children's work and to ensure that everyone working with young people, throughout the diocese, are well supported and resourced.
