Thank you from the Archdeacons' Charge

Posted on Monday 1 August 2011
Money has been coming in since Easter Monday when a very happy crowd walked or ran round Sennowe Park at Guist covering from between 2 and 10 miles.

We can now report that to date a fantastic total of £10,100.00 has been raised which will support the work of the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the work of the Church.

  • £5,050 goes to the Air Ambulance
  • £4,192 has contributed to the Parish Share of 61 parishes which took part or sponsored us.
  • £117.50 goes to parishes from other dioceses who sponsored us.
  • A further £740.50 will support the work of this diocese.

THANK YOU to all who took part and supported us. It may be that there are some out there who still need to send us the money they raised. This can be done online at http://www.justgiving.com/Archdeacons-Charge-2011 or by sending your money to Diocesan House (c/o James South), 109 Dereham Road, Easton, Norwich NR9 5ES Don’t forget to indicate which parish you would like half the money to support.

Thank you again. We are already planning next year’s event and will let you know details in due course. It will be another opportunity to support the Air Ambulance and your own local parish.

John Ashe
Archdeacon of Lynn
