Norwich Vicar in Norwich to Brighton Bike Ride
The Revd Paul Mackay, Vicar of Mile Cross, together with Simon Bransby, a member of his Parochial Church Council (PCC) are donning bicycle shorts - and a cassock and surplice - to take part in the London - Brighton bike ride on Sunday 15th June.

However, in an extra effort to raise funds, they will begin their journey from Norwich, cycling to London ready for the start at 7.00 am on 15th June - leaving St Catherine's, Mile Cross at 9am on Thursday 12th June.

Two-thirds of the money they raise (in the leg from Norwich to London) will be in aid of the St Catherine's Development Fund. This forms part of a massive fund-raising to complete the necessary re-wiring of the church together with essential major roof repairs.

The remaining third (the London-Brighton race)will be in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
