To all Diocesan Expense Claimants

Posted on Tuesday 15 November 2011
We would like to express thanks on behalf of the Diocese for the time you give to the work across the Diocese.

I would like to remind all expense claimants that supporting documentation is necessary for all expense claims in order to comply with Diocesan procedures and audit requirements.  It also assists us in demonstrating the good stewardship of the financial resources in our care.

May I also request that all expense claims relating to 2011 (1 January to 31 December) are submitted to the Diocesan Finance Department no later than Monday 16 January 2012.  This will enable the Finance Department to allocate these to the correct financial year when preparing the year-end statutory accounts.

Thanks you for your help and consideration in these matters.

With every best wish,

Richard M Butler
Diocesan Secretary (Chief Executive)
