Healthcare Sunday is coming

Posted on Thursday 4 October 2012
The NHS employs 1.7 million people in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland – that is 4% of the workforce; one in every 25 people.

So it would be safe to say that most churches have at least one member who works in the NHS.

Healthcare Sunday returns on 21st October, and was set up over a decade ago as a way to help churches engage with health and medicine. For one Sunday every year those who work in healthcare are remebered and prayed for.

A full set of resources are available if your church is interested in getting involved. Find out all the details here
