Memorial Service for much loved Priest
A memorial service for the Revd Robert Llewelyn - the priest who revived interest in 13th Century English Mystic, Mother Julian of Norwich - is to be held at Norwich Cathedral on FRIDAY 4TH APRIL at 2.30pm.

The service, to which all are welcome, will be led by the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham James. The address will be given by the Revd Canon Michael McLean and the prayers will be led by the Revd Canon Jeremy Haselock. The service will include readings from the writings of Julian of Norwich and from Robert Llewelyn’s own memoirs. Fr Robert died on Wednesday 6th February at the age of 98 following a long ministry including a time in India. He became the unofficial chaplain to the Shrine of Julian of Norwich in 1976 and did much to revive interest in the writings of the 13th Century English Mystic who was the first woman to write a book in English. Canon McLean said, “His humility and love touched the lives of men and women of all faiths and none, at a very deep level. The memorial service on 4th April will enable us to express our enormous thanksgiving for such a very remarkable life.” ENDS Further information: Canon Jeremy Haselock 01603 218306
