Is your church taking part in Open Churches Week 2009?

Posted on Tuesday 3 March 2009
The fourth Open Churches Week will take place in the Diocese from 1st – 9th August this year.

Dear Incumbent / Churchwarden,

The previous three Open Churches Weeks have taken place mainly in the Broads and Rivers area, but this year we would like to open it up across the Diocese. You may already have decided on your church activities and events for this year, if you haven’t, then here is an opportunity to promote your church to a wider audience. If you have your list of things to do already you might just want to let me know if your church is an open one, its opening hours etc. so that I can add it to the database.

- Download the Help Sheet/Guidelines at http://www.norwich.anglican.org/visiting/documents/OpenChurchesWeek2009-Guide.doc

- Download the Application Form at http://www.norwich.anglican.org/visiting/documents/OpenChurchesWeek2009-Form.doc

Visit http://www.norwich.anglican.org/visiting/ to find out more.

Please complete the form and have it back to me by 30 April. This deadline is very important for publicity purposes as we will be producing a comprehensive and professional guide this year for tourists and church visitors to use.  If I can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Yours sincerely,

Jennie Hawks (Mrs)
Open Churches Project Officer, Diocese of Norwich
