Changes to Grassroots Grants Funding Criteria
Grass Roots grants are operated by the Norfolk Community Foundation and the annual income limit for qualifying organisations has now been increased from £20,000 to £30,000. This means that more of our PCC's may now be eligible to apply.

The Grassroots Grants programme aims to increase grant funding available to community groups (including churches) whose work is tailored to meeting local needs. The programme sets out to support organisations that find it difficult to get funding from other sources but can make a real difference to people’s lives in Norfolk.

Up to £5,000 can be awarded either as a single grant or over a three year period and the Norfolk Community Foundation is particularly keen to fund projects for work with disadvantaged groups. The grants can be very useful as a source of matched funding to support Diocesan Mission Fund applications and I would be happy to discuss possibilities/ideas further with individual PCC's.

An application pack for Grassroots Grants can be found at www.norfolkfoundation.com
