An Invitation from Bishop's House

Posted on Friday 15 May 2009
From the Bishop of Norwich to all Licensed Clergy.

To: Licensed Clergy
From: The Revd Simon Ward, Bishop’s Chaplain – bishopschaplain@bishopofnorwich.org

The Bishop of Norwich and Mrs Julie James invite you and your family, your churchwardens and their spouses for afternoon tea in the Bishop's Garden on Saturday 20th June 2009 from 2.30-5pm. Teas will be served from 3pm

We need to know numbers for catering purposes so please respond to Brenda Goodson, the Bishop's Secretary, with the names of those who will be coming with you, by Friday 12 June. Please would you extend this invitation to your churchwardens as they will not receive a separate invitation. If, apart from your churchwardens, there is a lay leader in your church whom you would particularly like to include as a mark of appreciation, please do so. There will be a marquee in and the garden will be open for all to explore.

Brenda can be emailed at secretary@bishopofnorwich.org

There is an upper limit on numbers but we hope to accommodate everyone if we can, therefore early replies would be helpful. Please note that we cannot add to numbers after 12 June.

Kind regards,

Simon Ward
