Recent lead theft from church

Villagers are being asked to report any suspicious activity they witness at their local church following a recent theft.
Norfolk Constabulary have released the following statement:
"The latest incident happened at a church in Freethorpe in Acle sometime between 8 August to 17 August, where unknown offenders entered the churchyard and removed a quantity of lead from the roof.
With the cost of lead and other scrap metal continuously rising thieves are taking any opportunity to steal, even targeting churches.
We urge all church members to be vigilant and report any unknown persons tampering with church roofs.
