Back to Church Sunday is a national initiative to welcome back to church those who used to attend but, for whatever reason, do so no longer. The national date is Sunday 28th September – but you can choose another date, or even have a “Back to Church Month” in a multi-parish benefice.

Back to Church Sunday can be as simple or as complicated as you like.

The summary and checklistincludes the names and contact details of members of the Diocesan Mission Support Team who are willing to help you with your planning.

Posters and invitations are at Diocesan House and can be sent to anyone who requests them. They are not date specific.

You can request materials by e-mailing with the number of posters and number of invitations you would like.

Alternatively, you are more than welcome to visit Diocesan House and pick up however many you wish.
