Sharing Care - Older People
A four-week course to support and encourage all those who care for older people in our communities in any of many ways.
It was written with laity particularly in mind, but clergy are very welcome too. Across the diocese, this course will be delivered by trained people. They will be aiming to encourage and equip participants in their ministry with older people, valuing deeply the particular experiences and insights which each person will bring to the course and inviting participation at all levels. They will be very aware of the sensitive nature of many of the issues raised, and alert to questions of trust and confidentiality.
This course will run wherever there is a big enough nucleus of people who are interested. The minimum number of course participants is 10 and the maximum 16. If you have the makings of such a group, please contact me and we can discuss dates and venues and I will supply you with someone who has been trained to deliver the course. Leaflet/Poster (Word)
