Rural Ministry Course (Arthur Rank Centre)
Tuesday 13 April 2010 - Thursday 15 April 2010
in Offa House Coventry Diocesan Conference and Retreat Centre Leamington Spa Warwicks
A three-day residential course designed for lay and ordained ministers entering a rural appointment for the first time.

Rural ministry is a specialist ministry for which particular insights and skills are required and the social context is markedly different from urban or surburban ones.  The aim of the course is to build confidence in the participants' ability to exercise ministry in rural contexts.  Among the many issues explored are partnership of church and community; rural mission and theology, and patterns of worship, service and evangelism.  The course is held twice a year and a month before the course, you will be sent further information with preparatory work for you to do.
