Child Protection Training
This short session will consider good practice in working with children and young people, the nature and symptoms of abuse, and the procedures and processes adopted by the Diocese of Norwich.

This 2 hour session is essential basic training for:
Named Persons for Child Protection
Clergy
Readers
Licenced Lay Workers
Employed youth and/or Children's Workers

Volunteers, whose work or ministry involves under 18s, are strongly encouraged to attend.

The training takes place at least 4 times a year - usually weekday evenings - in venues around the diocese. 
If you are unable to attend any of the sessions in the current programme, contact Tricia Elson to register your interest.

Training is based on 'Safe Haven', the Guidelines for the Diocese of Norwich in working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Please note that these training sessions only cover child protection.  To register an interest in training for working with vulnerable adults contact the Training Dept: cathy.nicholls@norwich.anglican.org
