Preparing for Retirement

Pleshey Retreat House Pleshey Essex
This residential conference is for stipendiary clergy who will reach retirement age - and are planning to retire - between 2010 and 2013. It is designed to look at the more personal issues faced - in particular: "What do I hope for in retirement?"

For clergy, and especially those who have been in full-time ministry for many years, retirement can also mean a loss of identity.  Some will be very happy to retire; others will want to continue to assist parish clergy.  Personal questions are nevertheless a significant part of this transition and this conference aims to provide a relaxed context to explore these.
