Passionate about good food? Keen to do your bit towards sustainability? Concerned about the welfare of food producers at home and abroad? Ready to take the thinking about fair trade beyond bananas and coffee? Then the weekend of events at Norwich Cathedral is for you!

A weekend of events exploring the relationship between the Gospel and the shopping trolley, culminating in the annual Harvest Festival at Norwich Cathedral.

  • Thurs 7 til Sun 10 Oct- Hostry exhibition of fair food players large and small, local and global.
  • Thurs 7 Oct 7.30 pm - Fair Food Night Out! An evening with Kathy Galloway  http://www.norwich.anglican.org/calendar/e3214                                                                                    the popular speaker and recent author of Sharing the Blessing.
    • Event chaired by Henry Cator,
    • Fairly traded refreshments available,
    • Questions from the floor,
    • Big screen
    • Why not make an evening of it by booking a pre-talk 6pm supper in one of five participating Norwich restaurants? Bring your friends, enjoy a plate of fairly traded/locally sourced food and then come on down to the Cathedral for some further food for thought!
  • Fri 8 Oct 10am-12pm - Sixth Form Question Time conference.   http://www.norwich.anglican.org/calendar/e3082                                                                                     A chance for sixth form students to explore fair food issues with a high profile panel chaired by George Alagiah. Priority is given to Sixth Formers but all are welcome.
