Project Development Day
Setting up, managing, and/or funding development projects

Friday 11 January
Diocesan House, Easton
To support the aims of the Committed to Growth initiative the Diocese will be running a series of free training days during 2008 which are aimed at people involved in setting up and managing development projects and/or finding funding for them.

The first training day will take place on Friday 11 January and is being conducted in partnership with The Guild, a community training organisation based in Norwich. During the day a range of issues will be covered including,
  • developing project ideas and action plans
  • consulting and working in partnership with other community organisations
  • business planning and fundraising.

All of the courses will be free and lunch will be provided. The courses will be  particularly helpful for people developing larger applications to the new Mission Support Fund.
