Food Security has recently become a hot topic, but what were agricultural labourers eating in the nineteenth century and how does it relate to our diet today?
Clive Wilkins-Jones of the Norfolk Heritage Centre, Millenium Centre, will provide some reflections on this in a lecture entitled
‘All Loaves and No Fishes: the Diet of the Agricultural Labourer in Norfolk and Suffolk in the Nineteenth Century’ Clive will be joined by David Lawrence, the Principal of Easton College who will speak on ‘Food Security- Can we meet the challenge?’.
