Working with emotionally upset children

Speaker, Liz Canter-Gough, Team Manager for the National Fostering Agency. An introductory session for those working with children or young people affected by family issues such as divorce or bereavement. What to do, what not to do and knowing when to call in professional help.

For those working in schools or youth and children's work.  As a result of stresses and tensions in the family home, many children and young people suffer sudden changes of behaviour which affect their learning or their relationships with others.  Liz Canter Gough will share her expertise on what action to take in order to support the young people in your care.
