Informal lunchtime recital
Saturday 2 August
11.30 am to 1.30 pm
Norwich Cathedral
Be moved... be calmed... be inspired... be uplifted... Pianist and composer Charles Timberlake is giving an informal lunchtime recital in Norwich Cathedral on Saturday 2nd August from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Charles has produced seven albums of inspirational and soulful piano and instrumental music, the last five in collaboration with composer John Daniels.
Their latest recording, Only In Your Eyes, was released in March of this year. Their music is regularly featured on Radio 2's Good Morning Sunday programme with Aled Jones, their arrangement of Make Me a Channel of Your Peace being included on the recently-released double CD compilation of favourite music from the show.
Charles' music touches the heart and soul and brings a sense of peace and calmness to the listener. This will be his first recital in Norwich, in a county he loves and which is very important and significant for him spiritually. Charles will be playing mainly his own compositions on 2nd August, along with some well-known worship and other songs.
Visitors to the Cathedral will be treated to music to move, to calm, to inspire and to uplift.
