Giving for Growth Sunday

Bishop Graham has asked that all parishes set aside one Sunday a year as Giving for Growth Sunday.

Everyone leading worship and preaching that day should "focus on our responsibility as Christian disciples to give of our money as part of our growth in discipleship."  The day is to be set in the context of our Committed to Growth plans, and includes the opportunity to thank those who give regularly and generously; to encourage a regular annual review of our giving; and to encourage us all to see our giving in terms of our response to God's great generosity towards us.

The resources below have been produced by a small team within the Diocese to help you prepare for Giving for Growth Sunday.

Our hope is that this special Sunday will help us all to preach and teach honestly and straightforwardly about this challenging aspect of our discipleship.
