Deanery maps

The Diocese issues maps of each deanery to:

• Rural Deans
• Lay Chairs
• Deanery Synod Secretaries
• Deanery Assessors
• Retired Clergy & Widows Deanery Representatives

The maps are made available through an agreement between Ordinance Survey, Dotted Eyes, the Church Commissioners and the Diocese of Norwich.

Terms of use

The copyright notice must always be visible on or next to each map.  It must read: "Digital Mapping Solutions from Dotted Eyes © Crown Copyright 2011. All rights reserved. Licence Number 100019918." 

The maps are intended for use in the following:

• Parish profiles created by the PCC
• Clergy vacancy profiles
• Parish/Benefice Growth Plans
• Mission Fund applications
• Wholly free parish magazines
• Free promotional material
• Internal church use

Publishing in a parish magazine for example with a cover price of 30p or suggested donation of 30p is not permitted.  If you wish to add a map to your church website we highly recommend you link to your parish or benefice map via www.achurchnearyou.com and not these files.

It is important to note that map boundaries are set by the Church Commissioners and changed only by Pastoral Measure. We cannot show adapted, draft or 'working' boundaries which have not been formally approved.

Benefice and parish maps

We don't have the capacity at present to produce maps of individual benefices or parishes, but are aware how useful these would be. If and when these are available this web page will be updated.
