Parish Communications Training Days

The Diocese is running Parish Communications Training Days from February to June in 2013.

The days are open to all church members and will be covering a variety of subjects to help you promote and publicise your church and its events, such as:

• Promoting church events
  (designing posters, using the press, web, email)
  What are the most effective ways to communicate your events?


• Demystifying and using social media
  What are Twitter and Facebook, and how can they be used by churches?
  
  
• Improving parish and benefice websites
  How do we make websites easy to update and best promote church?

The training days will be hosted in various locations throughout the Diocese: 

• Swaffham - Saturday 23 February at Swaffham Community Centre
• Cromer - Monday 4 March at Cromer Parish Church
• Great Yarmouth - Thursday 21 March at St Paul's Church
• Attleborough - Wednesday 10 April at Attleborough Town Hall
• Norwich - Saturday 11 May at St Luke's Church, Alysham Road
• King's Lynn - Tuesday 11 June at Gaywood Church Rooms
• Wells-next-the-Sea - Thursday 27 June at The Maltings

The days run from 10am - 4pm and a light lunch is provided.  And best of all, it's free!
