Great expectations

Readings, writings and images for study and reflection in Advent 2011

Following the success of ‘A great gift, humbly given', a daily study module for Holy Week, a new series has been published called ‘Great expectations'.  It is centred on the Gospel readings for the four Sundays of Advent and that for Christmas Eve, and follows the same scheme as the Lent modules.

As before, we hope that the use of these readings, images and reflections during Advent may reinforce and develop the reader's knowledge and faith, stimulating an examination of both and a translation of their appreciation to everyday life.
